CE Marking

CE Marking (originally Conformite’ Europeenne) demonstrates compliance with the appropriate manufacturing standard for a product. As a symbol, it will be familiar as it has been a requirement for many years on products sold in the European Union such as toys and electrical goods. This represents a major development for engineers, contractors and steelwork specialists and it demands careful attention to the obligations imposed.

From 1st July 2014 all fabricated structural steelwork must meet the harmonised European standard BS EN 1090 and carry the CE Mark.

Icamsteel has been accredited to execution class 3 due to its investment in both personnel and quality control systems. Our CE Marking is presently externally accredited by BBA.

Being awarded with Class 3 certification allows Icamsteel to manufacture anything from community centres to Bridges and anything in between.
